hallo laiyan! thanks for the encouragement! actually i m feeling much better now la. i m really grateful that i have a dream team of PUBCO members who are willing to slog it out with me. really appreciate it guys! over the next few months, let us move from strength to strength, glory to glory!
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access
by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also
glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation
produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
Romans 5:1-5
anyway. yesterday was chinese oral. heh. typical barker boy and chinese oral. heh. so can go ask another barker boy cus i wanna talk bout something else. hahah. can u believe it. i was the last person?!?!?! but i guess the time spent waiting was the best time of the entire week. i was reading the word and i just came across afew verses and chapters that really made me reflect on what john was telling me the night before.
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers
in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit,in faith, in purity. Till I come,
give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.
Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
-1 Timothy 4:12:16
i was like reading the story of Balamm and the donkey
"Then the LORD opened Balaam's eyes, and he saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face."
-Numbers 22:31
Balaam did not heed the word of God, was oblivious to his faults and even the donkey talking to him. U know its like sometimes, we are so oblivious to our own faults and mistakes, we dun even know we are going the wrong direction. Even someone hus as silly as a donkey can tell us that. Guess its like that. But i just hope this day, the Lord opens our eyes like He opened Balaam's eyes, that indeed i can go back on the right direction and bless people with my what i do.
and say to the forest of the South, '
Hear the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD: 'Behold, I will
kindle a fire in you, and it shall
devour every green tree and every dry tree in you; the blazing flame
shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be scorched by it.
All flesh shall see that I, the LORD, have kindled it; it shall not be quenched.'"
-Ezekiel 20:47-48
